I agree and I think that the real problem is the pervasiveness of it and the persuasiveness of it.
It also as, I have noticed, an amount of deliberate efforts to misrepresent things in ways that can ONLY be known to be intentional AND to also make a deliberate effort to make women believe they are victims of the world and without value or agency.
To put this in context, if I said, "You are Autistic. Therefore NT's are the majority of people in power and are actively devaluing you for what you are not who you are. In every instance they will do this even if you do not pick up on it. Those NT's you love, nope, they are in on it, even if they do not realise, because it is a cultural thing they are systematically indoctrinated in. If you do not think so, then they have really done their job on you too and you are in effect, an Uncle Tom. BUT do not worry. Now that you feel hopeless, Our new movement Ableism will set you free. Support us for us.
See the trick? Make the person feel useless and beset on by all sides and then offer an out or solution or protection from this false threat?
Now you may say that this is pretty weak in comparison to what I propose but how many people are behind this idea and how many decades has it been strategically placed and refined?
Hell, want some fun? Question collectives of Feminists and you will often find many if not most saying that they are about equality and push furter and you will get a couple change tune and say something like "Look if you want those rights for men then start your own movement, Our movement is about and for women and its in the name "Feminism, don't you get it?"
"Ah, right. So Feminism is about Female Empowerment right?"
"Yes!"
"Not gender equality"
"Same thing"
"No it isn't...."
