What do they call this shit when it happens after such an uplifting spring.

I get the whole "FALL" thing (and all its symbolic implicaions) leading into the SAD expanse of winter, but ... ?

Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I came to this world with nothing
and I leave with nothing but love,
everything else is just borrowed.

Fuck it, we'll do it live.

i've been watching neil gaiman's "neverwhere" series.  not as good as the book, obviously, and as the O Man says, suffering from a paucity of budget, but i think it's bloody good.

It's good TV.

I should watch my "John from Cincinnati" episodes. I watched the first one, and then recorded #2, #3 and #4.

i watched neil gaiman's "stardust" yesterday.  it's a beautiful little film, absolutely charming and a little gem, just like the book.

and robert de niro is hysterical in it.

Wow. I haven't the foggiest what that is. But I'm suddenly getting a horrible urge to write a hideously intellectual and artistic essay on the dissolution of human culture.
