The Umbrella Academy? I'm thinking you'd probably like it. I haven't watched it yet myself (but we all know I'm terrible at watching tv anyway, much rather read) but a large majority of my friends keep raving about it.

I'm up to season 6 of Bosch.  It's about a Detective who solves crimes with power tools.   OK, there aren't any power tools.  But it's good.  If you like detective stuff.
