'Torchwood' is supposed to be the 'mature' version of the Whoniverse. However, there is ten times more maturity to be found in a middle ranking Carry On movie... and one hundred times more fun.

Why have I watched every episode?... morbid curiosity as to how low the quality of the show can plummet.

It's all subjective in the long run.  If you like it and it looks good, it IS good!  Though "Torchwood" sounds like an "X-Files" with a UK twist and is a "Dr. Who" spinoff like the "Sarah-Jane Chronicles".  (And I am in lust with Sarah-Jane/Elisabeth Sladen, who I met at a WhoCon, 20+ years ago.)   :eyebrows:

Hard to believe that "Dr. Who" was cancelled nearly 10 years ago, revived, and all the yadda yadda yadda that went with it.
