No. An "y" after an "a" doesn't turn to "ie" either in plural or genitive.

I'm just kidding with you. I don't care if you make spelling mistakes.  :)

i know, lit.

i don't mind at all.

like i said, i am at peace with my shortcoming.  i wonder if the reason that i suck so basd with the spelling and the grammar is all the effing rules involved in writing.  i am a rebel you know!

No. I think, for many of us it's not the rules that are the problem. We can learn any rule and execute within its boundaries flawlessly, when we want.

It's those "effing" exceptions that we stumble over, making the whole rule plan contradictory.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I can see, especially on aspie boards in English, that people spell the way the words "logically" should be spelled but aren't. In Swedish the pronounciation doesn't differ so much from the spelling. The vowels, for instance, are almost always pronounciated the same way in a whole word as one by one in the alphabet.
