That reminds me of something funny. One time this new guy didn't have his email set up yet, so kept coming to my desk asking for information, and my team member made an insinuating comment about it. Told her my metadata brings all the boys to the yard. :laugh: Probably wont get many opportunities to say that.

Used to not tip very much for pizza, thinking the delivery fee was given to the driver. Dox told me on wp that the driver doesn't get that money, and poor tippers might get spit food or cold food, so started tipping really big after that. Don't eat takeout very often, but still something considered.

He said it's common for people to think the delivery fee goes to the driver, like some restaurants automatically calculate the tip into the bill. It was one of those good to know things. Don't want to feel like am short changing someone, even if they don't spit in the food.

Tips are tricky sometimes. Some countries never include a service fee while others sometimes do, so these days I always check before travelling.

I pay for my pizza online with my card, but then I give the delivery person a couple of quid.  That way my intentions are clear.  I do not expect the driver to 'declare' it or 'share it'.
