Thanks both - not sure if I'm staying. Really I dropped in out of curiousity to see how things currently are. They seem a little more sedate.
Yes, a bit of a lull right now; still hoping you stick around.

And how are you doing?

Are you still into politics?

Alive, well, employed and fruitfully occupied. Perhaps even somewhat contented.

As for the politics, I still take an interest, but I've gained a preference for being more directly involved in 'stuff' that actually has an (local) impact, as opposed just being a member of a political party.

Some of it was fun, sure, but it all became too much when Cal became obsessed about it.

That part was annoying. I was thinking of the pranks.

Some of them were amusing but it was no fun cleaning up the mess. Hardon would behave like a typical teenager and simply leave the aftermath to the web monkeys.

Isn't that what Hadron was, back then, a teenager?

Yes, he was. Kind of explains it, doesn't it?

Or different interpretations of the rules (not that anything was done which actually targetted the underlying website!). Not that it really matters years down the line.

No, it doesn't matter. It's just the usual banter here.

Welcome back. :)

I suppose it's the inevitable result of most people knowing each other reasonably well. Not that there isn't any drama but people change.

I think I knew most of them. I have messages in my inbox from a number of them.

I would of joined a year earlier, but I held of from joining until 2008.
Every day, every year, I realize more and more how hard life is, how lonely things can be, how we're all just trying to make it. I hope people here can find the peace and acceptance they're seeking. Most people lashing out are just awkward kids shouting into the void; learn forigveness and let it pass. But if you need to shout, I think you should let it out, just remember we're all people with feelings.

I've matured, I suppose. I'm a lot slower, more calm, and feel like life has been one long weight that has been too long on my shoulders.

So it goes , I suppose.

The people I knew from this time period, back then, some I've met years ago, others have dropped out of my life. Its all been one long, melancholy ride.
