I can't ask the obvious question since this is a family-oriented site.
Since I am NOT a part of the family, I can ask.

Well, tell us, did you shave or are you waiting for me to help you do so for the both of us?

 :autism:

Hyke's shaving seems to be a popular topic of discussion. :P

... and so does this trouble you or are you promoting the notion?

Speaking of shaving, don't you just hate it when there's a lone bristle left on your chin after shaving?

Probably an over-share here, but:

I am getting to be old, now.  As we all know (well, mainly those of us who are actually getting older) getting older often means having hair spring up in the most unlikely places, right?

Well, a few years ago, I had a hair spring up on the end of my nose and my wife insisted upon pulling it out every time she saw it. Remember the old saying that pulling hair out makes it stronger? Then there is the old saying that "never pull out a gray hair" because it will become two gray hairs.

We also know that once hair becomes gray it is more course and becomes more difficult to manage, once we get older and shit.

Somewhere along the timeline, my one, single nose hair, growing out from the center of my nose, straight up to the fucking sky, became gray and my wife insisted upon pulling it out still every time she saw it. Well, HELL! It became gray and she pulled it out anyway.

Guess what, not only do I now have TWO fucking hairs growing out of the end of my nose, THEY are fucking gray!! Guess what else! Not only are there two now, they are as stiff and course as whiskers and I can SEE them, MYSELF in sunlight.

I have to shave the end of my nose or I can see these old burly whiskers growing out then end of my nose.

:hide:

Probably a bit of an over-share, but it is kind of funny.

Yeah, it is funny.

It's the definition of aging. Hair stops growing where you want it to, and starts growing where you don't.

Yep, it IS funny until the sun hits it and it glows so loudly, being pure silver and all, that that is all you can see.

When my SIL gets older male clients in her shop for a haircut, she shaves their nose and earlobes too. And she cuts their eyebrows.

Always, man. I got one of these.

I shaved my neck (my nose - STFU!) and my upper cheeks. All the shaving with which I will contend.
