If you want to reduce temperature and don't really need to do very CPU intensive tasks, disable Intel Turboboost in the BIOS. From my experience it reduces CPU temperature by 10-15C but at the cost of significantly reduced CPU speed. Had to do that with my laptop considering I was reaching up to 90C while gaming (after disabling it, it dropped to 78C-82C at most). Most games seem to do fine without needing the extra speed turboboost provides (The Sims 3 however will suffer performance loss as it's very CPU intensive).
