I am a rational man. Logically I know that men's erect penises are around 6" long or something as an average. There is some variation but most fall within a range of 5-7". Therefore I know most men on here will have penises that when erect will be in this range. Most men here. Some will be slightly longer or slightly shorter.
I know that.
What purpose would I have measuring myself against any other man? Why would I want to see them erect?

It is very basic competitiveness to settle manliness. We could as well do a fighting contest, but that is rather hard to accomplish online. If you don't fight, you proclaim to be unfit for it, for whatever reason. The winner will be settled nonetheless.
