I've been off the blood thinners for almost 48 hours, I'm doing okay so far.... maybe its best to start being more mobile.
Start small and build it up. If you make a routine out of going for a five minute walk twice a day, it will be easy to expand to 6, 7, 8 etc minutes a day. Running can be slowly introduced into that rhythm too.
I'm able to walk longer distances... I don't have it really bad like my sister does. (arthritis in the back)
Good. 5 minutes is a bit too slow then. But, starting slow is not a bad thing. I kept telling me to start cycling, and never did it in a way that made a difference. Now I have given it a place in my routine, and I really miss it when I don't do it. (Like today
, I'm now posting on I2, instead of battling the elements, and it is not half as satisfying.)
