He posts differently in pm. It did occur to me it could be a COMPAQ impostor. I am not 100% sure. Is the ip from Germany? He did type like COMPAQ when I first pmed him and I asked if it was COMPAQ. He said yes. I plussed him the first 2 times because I was glad it wasn't a troll out to mess with me. It occurred to me I can be wrong. Can an admin confirm he is from Germany?

Judging by his drawings, he seems like someone familiar. Initially thought it was Pig, but I doubt it since he and DFG are friends.

I thought it might be pig at first, but I can actually talk to that guy and he seems to be able to engage. This one is just totally off the wall, which is why I thought he was doing it on purpose at first.

The latest exchange actually seemed to upset him, so I just dumped it on O-man's desk. I have no idea what the deal is with him, but I ain't spending time on it.

  I wouldn't say so, though I was inactive for a long time before the site was shut down. 
 

He already was an inactive mod there, when I joined IIRC, still having the colours, so respected. Was not till after I left that I heard about him becoming active again. And then heard some rumours about drama after that.
Was this someone who changed over the years, was it impossible to keep up appearances, or was this a case of personality theft?

No idea, but the changes over time are weird.
