Meanwhile,

DFG went to the trouble of identifying this person as COMPAQ. She provided the initial identification of this account as COMPAQ AFAIK and others like Rage and myself relied on that ID as correct.

She also karma'd that account giving it the only  that it has, apparently to encourage that account to keep doing what it was doing - which happened to be talking lewd to her and pissing off Rage in the process.

If you are correct, and I believe you, than two questions occur to me 
1. Why did DFG identify the account as COMPAQ? and
2. How did DFG fail to recognize someone impersonating COMPAQ whom she had been friends with for a few years?

Even if you are in error something is rotten in Denmark.

I initially thought it was one of the people on IRC I chatted with years ago. COMPAQ did that heart thing when talking to me or Amy. I didn't read all of his posts like the ones you and Rage were mentioning. I was looking at the  responses to me and the pms. I do remember COMPAQ being too honest. He admitted on msn saying something sexual about Amy's underage daughter. I remembered an old conversation between Amy and Cynara on AFF in about her 18 year old NT daughter not liking neurodiversity. I wondered: How many daughters does Amy have then? COMPAQ has always been painfully honest which is why I think/thought it was him. I didn't talk to him regularly, so I may not know as much as CBC. I know his full name and msn email. I think I will check the msn instant messenger files to see what I can find.

  I have the same problem, sort of.  I keep getting mistaken for supermarket staff.  I shop after work in my work uniform
   from the retirement home, and other customers see *a* uniform without noticing that it isn't a *store* uniform,
   and ask me where things are.  One time a cranky old lady asked me if I was going to take the store flyer out of the
   shopping cart she wanted.  I didn't understand why she was asking.  She looked annoyed and removed it herself and then I  got it.
