Serious major fucking thanks to Zegh for defending the art of drawing women with realistic proportions. I wish a whole lot more of the industry agreed with you.
Zegh's woman has narrow hips, but despite what TV and media would have people believe, they're well within the normal range. She's also short - ie not a 6' runway model. DFGL's woman has her head set too far back on her shoulders, her right elbow is missing the bone structure, and don't even get me started on the tits. He's made a good attempt to capture each specific contour of the torso, but it's like Ingres - the entire torso is overly lengthened.
Source: I have a body a lot more like the woman in Zegh's MSPaint drawings than the stretched anorexic torso of DFGL's exploding tits woman.
Um, I was going to say "thank you for constructive critique, but ..", until I realized you were talking about the guro picture ... which makes everything you wrote seem pretty ridiculous to me, like the picture itself. I just got tired of drawing it. It isn't supposed to look realistic or anything.
I also googled Ingres and I must say, wow, he almost got it with huge pelvic bones:
But it is not quite right, it should look more flat on her side, like a triangle, and also the bone needs to be more pronounced imo. I am not exactly sure, but I would not ever have thought of drawing additional vertebrae. That surely seems to do the trick.
