You too, can become an ordained minister!

For $20 (I'll pass, I'm cheap ), you can become an official Pastafarian minister.

Frequently asked question: are these certificates legitimate? Could I perform a wedding with one of these?

Yes, they're legitimate. There have been weddings officiated by Pastafarian ministers using these ordination certificates. A license to perform weddings is applied for at the local level and the process varies from place to place. Usually it's a matter of filling out a form and showing your ordination credentials. I am happy to write a Letter of Good Standing or any other document they may require.

To date I am not aware of any Pastafarian ever being turned away. Please, please let me know if you run into any problems.

My former landlady and her then-boyfriend both became ordained ministers in the Progressive Universal Life Church.
As for me, I think I would be a good Pastafarian minister, saying the blessing at spaghetti suppers

I have a religion similar to the spaghetti one. Instead of worshiping a flying spaghetti monster, you worship Super Mario! :zoinks:

They wouldn't happen to be the 7th day plumbers, by any chance?

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

I'd perform gay male weddings.
The receptions are to die for.
Misunderstood.

I'm kind of over wedding receptions.   :wedding:

I like to joke that if I ever do get married, it'll be at City Hall, on my lunch break from work.  :P

I've been to a couple of weddings officiated by relatives of the bride or groom.  They got one-day licenses.  :)
