We are going to default.  It is almost a certainty now.  The Tea Party is crazy enough to let it happen and Obama should've threatened to lift the debt ceiling on his own.

There's still legroom for them to resolve things until November, beyond that time default is imminent. But considering the fact the credit agencies are already talking about downgrading the U.S economy, it may not even matter if it doesn't default yet.
