All I could do was sit and stare at the paper. Nothing came to me the way it sometimes does in exams. So it was very disappointing.

Yeah, I had one of those on the CPA exam.  I was to write a memo to the client explaining the various tax and accounting treatments of a sale-lease-back.  I stared at it for 5 minutes and knew it wasn't going to come to me.  So I wrote the heading for the memo and that was it.  Simply because I wrote something I got a point for answering that little bit.  I did not pass theeory and I also failed law.  Having to study theory and law together turned out to work well for me.  I passed on the 2nd try.

I have a whole lost list. I keep it inside the book in which I list my tasks for the day. I would share it, but I lost the book. Will be looking for it today.

It's yellow, but because the first one I used (a moleskine bought on incredible discount) was pink, we call them all pink books, as opposed to my tiny leather covered black book, in which I have all my passwords and other essential information. I lose that from time to time but it's on my desk right now along with the backup black book, which is lime green (discounted from graphic images).

Also today I will be searching for the second kitchen box, which has in it the chopping attachment for my immersible blender. Also lost in our move were my black go to winter shoes. I doubt the moving guys stole those, but it's possible they put them in one of Py's boxes and she has not unpacked all of hers.

i know. it's not even the first time. that's why I was keeping it in the pink book. usually i don't lose that but this past year has been a nightmare of a train wreck. more lost things and sad/funny things than ever in my life.
