The city forces replanted a red maple where they cut one down in our front yard last year. Finally.

They used one of those big bags when they planted it. I've been keeping it full.

Not today, but soon.

Our last standing old ash tree has become infested.

I have a tree service coming out to take it down this week.

Suxx! That huge ash tree is the only decent shade on our west facing side.

So we'll have a day of noise and then, no more tree to the west.

It's rubbish collection day and the trucks go past four times - twice for regular rubbish and twice for recycling, our side of the road and across the road.

Apart from that there are the regular cars parked along the side of the road.
