I stopped for a few moments while driving by the Saints Training Camp and watched them practicing.

What does the training of Saints entail, and what did they practice, when you drove by.

I am completely intrigued by the thought that one can watch the progress of saints in the making.

Here a kid went out of the door to school, two cats went out for a stroll, and for the rest, all is quiet. OK, there is some wind and birds, I hear a blackbird singing love songs, but nothing unusual outside.

They were marching, as saints do. :orly:

Saints only march in. What do they do when they are inside? And how do they get outside again?

They redefine "in" as "out" and vice versa, then they march in again. :viking:

Oh no, you blasphemer. You are adapting the text to your own needs. I am sure Saints do other things too, like suffering, being brave maidens, scrubbing floors, bashing heads in of blasphemers, things like that.
And lots of contemplation, of course.

Where does it say that in the song? I shall defend the faith from your apocrypha! :pope:
You are the one messing with the original text. Replacing in for out and vice versa. This isn't a Katy Perry song, you know.

I have only modernized it, in keeping with its original intent. :M

You need to be back in pre-kindergarten daycare. You are missing out on the basics. Back to the books with contradictions. There you will see that "in" is the opposite of "out".

I am awaiting the return from the real Weeble, to tell you how wrong you are.

I am the Weeble!  Thou shalt have no other Weebles before me!  Repent from your blasphemy or burn!  :pope:

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, gentle cow!   :hyke:

This exchange reminds me of a time I took my Mom to the doctor.

The office was connected to the hospital.  While he was examining Mom, the loud speaker played "Happy Birthday".  He explained that the tune was played every time there was a birth in the hospital.  I quickly asked if they played "When The Saints Come Marching In" when someone died.  He just barely managed to keep from cracking up.

I'm still puzzled why some of the Saints had bright orange helmets on.  Was this good or bad?

Last few days, a lot of snow removal toil.
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

Perhaps they were skirmishing and needed a way to tell the teams apart.

Perhaps "Another One Bites the Dust" would be a better choice. :viking:

And this, dear Semicolon, is why the Saints are only marching in.

From Wikipedia (and I got the name wrong.  It's When the Saints Go Marching In.)

(Authoritative lyrics)

Oh, when the saints go marching in
Oh, when the saints go marching in
Lord I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the drums begin to bang
Oh, when the drums begin to bang
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the stars fall from the sky
Oh, when the stars fall from the sky
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the moon turns red with blood
Oh, when the moon turns red with blood
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call
Oh, when the trumpet sounds its call
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the fire begins to blaze
Oh, when the fire begins to blaze
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in
Oh, when the saints go marching in
Oh, when the saints go marching in
I want to be in that number
When the saints go marching in

The blackbirds are getting frisky. Sounds of spring.
And tits are finally acting as if it is winter, entering the gardens to find food.
