There is a Christian carnival set up at the ball park.  They will be out by Monday since the trucks line up there Tuesday for the Mardi Gras parade.

Carnaval celebrations are starting. Saw some junior princes walking through the street, and now am hearing some music. I guess the two "raden van elf" will be driven through the village on some kind of transport soon.
Couple of days of noise await us. Centre of the celebrations is not far from me.

A pair of common wood pigeons was in my garden.
My cat has run out, making overly exited noises.
The pigeons are now sitting on a roof, probably laughing at him.

Utility crews are working on the wires again.  The past few weeks they have replaced every telephone pole on my street and are in the process of moving the wires to the new ones
