This pain up under my right shoulder blade, which is not a regular symptom and almost certainly bursitis, has been going on for 4 days. I can’t keep my arm down and have to hold it over my head and backwards just to slightly dull it. If it doesn’t get better by tonight, I may be making a trip to the ER and seeing about a cortisone shot.

Went to the ER & x-rays showed swelling in the shoulder. Given a script for high-dose ibuprofen & a referral to a specialist. Frustrated because the pain persists and is very limiting.
