What are your weird attachments?
« on: August 26, 2013, 09:09:04 AM »
I have always been weirdly attached to news anchors. I especially miss Peter Jennings for some reason
I also like Tom Brokaw. I think it their voice that makes me so attached to them, infact I cant virtually listen to the opening theme to their respected news shows over and over again.  :zoinks:

Your weird attachments don't have to be news shows, but anything really. have any?

I like my cars very much, even though they are old Volvos.

I also hate to cut down trees. There can never be enough trees in my opinion.

I don't know if this counts but I like to measure, weigh and quantify things. When I buy a gun or knife I like to measure OAL, barrel or blade length and see how close it is to the literature claims. I also put things on my scale and calculate the muzzle energy of loads with the gravitational constant rounded up or down even though there is no practical difference - the standard deviation and mean spread are larger. At work I like calculating radius bends even though most of my friends prefer to avoid doing so.

As if I'm going to tell this lot any of my attachments.  Must think I'm senile or something.

I also hate to cut down trees.  I prefer blowing them up!   :arrr:

  Fixed that.  You're welcome.  :zoinks:

Lately I am de-hoarding my apartment and everything must go!  But I do love to store images on my computer
and in my phone.  I am a digital hoarder now.  And of course I am attached to I2, and to my post count!   :2thumbsup:

Experience both at once with member nudes.

Most are dead on. Smith & Wesson revolver barrels can be up tp .125" off depending on model.

That's what I would expect, and I would expect inside barrel diameter to be precise to within a thousandth of an inch or so.
