Back in the good old days, couldn't you just shoot people in America for putting up a fence on your property?  :viking:

Still can if no one is around and you can dispose of the body without getting caught >:D

With all the tools at your disposal it shouldn't be a problem. ;D

First things first-animals are OFF LIMITS. That kind of collateral damage is to be quite frank, not just unacceptable, but an act in and of itself that regardless of the arseholes being targeted, would earn somebody...well....somebody who just got locked in their own private multiverse of agonizing, scream-your-lungs-until-one-dies-of-pulmonary oedema&haemorrhage.

Good fucking gods, the things I would do to the fuckup piece of muslim-faeces that targeted even the most obnoxious of neighbors from hell, if I realized what they had done, be it cat, dog, bird, fish, it doesn't matter. You just don't do it. An animal cannot decide to be used as a weapon in a dispute, nor are they aware of the ramifications of their actions.

And knotweed....heh I was going to suggest the same thing yourself; but ONLY if you move out. It is so highly invasive it won't stay confined to the vic's place, but it will almost certainly come home to roost, and knock thousands off your house value. Even if it has to rip up concrete to do so.

I recommend something slightly less invasive, but rather more.....brutal.

Heracleum mantegazzianum, anybody?  if anyone needs seeds let me know and I'm sure we can work something out, I know where it grows around these parts.

Think whomping great umbelliferous plant, EASILY outstripping the height of a grown man, massive, sinister looking spiky leaves, invasive, hard to kill, and absolutely dripping with phototoxic furanocoumarin-based sap. Harmless in and of itself, but it induces the skin contacted by said to blister and burn, even a cloudy overcast day can result in 3rd-degree sunburn.

I am surprised that I haven't contributed to this thread.

Next door has three adults and three kids in a two bedroom unit. I don't know how they fit everyone in. Every now and then there is a huge argument and the kids will disappear for a week or so. I assume to be looked after by someone else.

I can hear the kids playing now. They should be at school. Also, there was a car in the carport that had someone sleeping in it last night. They have been here before and as far as I know they live in their car.

There was a house in my old neighborhood that I referred to as the Whorehouse. Other than that.... no weird neighbors in my current neighborhood.

I cowered in my apartment watching Montel Williams.  :hide:

My mom hates him.  She says he doesn't know how to breathe properly.  She told me to watch his shoulders when he took a breath, and sure enough, wham, up they jump, every time he takes a breath.  Shows he's using the wrong muscles or something.
I have a low opinion of anyone who puts his name on one of those payday loan companies

I hate Montell Williams. He had that evil bitch on his show for years. He's a moron and he neglects his own children.

Here's a song that mocks that stupid cunt. I can only hope that bitch was alive long enough to be offended by it.

The unit next door gets the odd bad tenant every now and then. Thankfully people are never on a lease for more than 6 months in that unit.

The guy that was in there before the current ones was domestically violent and the cops turned up there a few times. He'd speed off in his bomby Skyline before they got there. His GF would be outside sobbing to the cops while her kids (about 18 months and 3 years old) were playing chasies on the driveway kinda....used to the whole thing. One day he parked his car overnight in the driveway blocking everyone's garages, so I couldn't leave for work in the morning. I spent 20 minutes knocking on his door before he rolled out of bed and got confrontational with me, claiming his car wasn't even in the way. When it came time for them to move out he noisily did all his packing at 1am in the mornings. The landlords had to come and help them for some reason. There was a lot of tidying up to do and they had to do some re-plastering inside.

My other neighbour across the driveway must have a health problem or something (at first I thought he was just a drinker) because every night without fail at about 2am he would be loudly gagging and vomiting in his bathroom with the window wide open so the whole complex could hear. His bathroom window is directly opposite my bedroom window so I hear it the loudest. Not the kind of thing you can listen to without being grossed out so I have to sleep with my windows closed to block out the noise, even through summer.

I grew up in one

It was basically just a street, where a new (new in the late 70s) apartment block neighborhood offered very affordable apartments. Bam, all the poor people move in, so, anecdotes I recall

1. The daughter who shoved her dads face in the oven. Ambulance and police arrived. We watched dad come out w a towel around his head.

2. Johnny The Junkie, runs past mom and other moms when theyre tanning. Cops storm behind, and they point the direction for finding Johnny. Fuck Johnny.

3. Woman walks down the street w a revolver to her head, a gathering of kids follow her curiously. Situation is difused.

4. Police find an enormous arsenal of weapons and ammunition in the basement of a friend of mine. His dad was a collector.

5. Armed robbery in the gas station, someone fires off a sawn-off shotgun, and manages to destroy most of the tobacco they intended to steal. I happen to know the perpetrator.

6. Armed robbery in the bank, small ammounts of money was taken. Fuckin amateurs.

7. Kids found a suitcase with a submachinegun and medium ammounts of cash, sloppily hidden in the woods, likely the score from the bank robbery. Again, fucking amateurs.

8. Car in the woods, full of bullet holes from an automatic rifle. Someone had fun.

9. Johnny The Junkie, walks off his balcony, in an attempt to go shop at the grocery store, falls 4 floors. Ambulance arrives.

10. Fire in the apartment of an African family, my mom calls the fire department. A toddler burns to death, and the mother leaps from 3rd floor, screaming in shock and agony, before dying on the helicopter ride to Bergen (special burn unit). This could happen anywhere - what could not is the systematic bullying of the two surviving boys, "Mom-killer! Mom-killer!" as all the local, racist, jobless fat-fuck-parents told their kids that the fire was started by the two lil black boys. One of the two boys is a hardened criminal by now, pity, because he - like many people - are good "deep down".

11. Son attacks mothers apartment with axe. Police arrive. We watch the police ambush from the neighboring balconies, they climb over and seize him. Good times.

12. Numerous lawn fires, playground fires, garage fires, garbage fires etc. Usually the same 1-2 perps, some "problem kids".

13. Picket fences were systematically broken, as if someone made it their life's mission to sabotage and break every metre of every fence in the entire neighborhood.

14. Ever since new lawns were planted in the early 90s, "problem kids" kicked the soil around, and prevented lawns from growing, for years on end. Lawns probably still don't grow there. A pavillion was built for the troubled teens. It was smashed to bits. A skateboard-ramp was then built - and smashed to bits. Followed by a football-field (soccer for you Americans) where everything was not only bolted in place, but rooted 3-4 metres into the ground. This was so vigorously attempted smashed, that the rooted pieces today wobble widely, but are still not unstuck from the ground.

15. Supermarket burglarized on numerous occasions. We typically knew who did it, cus they were undiscrete idiots.

well mine are pretty quiet actually and surprisingly...I hear the sirens from police cars sometimes I can't make out if there is a shot from a gun or a firecracker can't tell the difference...down the main drag street but I'm on a cold-a-sack nice little niche in the back...I guess I'm the nutty neighbor!  ;) After all I do hug sales people that come to the door and Jehovah's Witnesses because I'm so crazy nuts in love with Jesus and love people as He does...it's the good kind of nuts  :viking:

Yep, around here you would at least want to give them a sniff test first.  :zombiefuck:

I'm the crazy one here, rest of them never even go outside. Seriously, it's like living next to a colony of vampires... I never see them out in the daylight, they invite me over for coffee every now and then or call.

It's cool, because where I lived before you couldn't even step out on the porch without someone waving or yelling to you.

My personal preference is to have no neighbors, but this is the next best thing.

It's been a while since I last had any neighbours anywhere close, but I have them now. I don't wanna.

For how long will you be in London? Will you make a second residence there?
