The government owns you.
« on: August 22, 2013, 12:52:24 PM »
Oh man. I just noticed something hilarious. Read this, the NATIONAL DEFENSE RESOURCES PREPAREDNESS executive order. Notice in the document that it details steps that will be taken in regards to the nation's resources in case of an "emergency". It explains in great detail how much our government owns all our property and how it will do so during an "emergency". Know what it doesn't explain? What constitutes an an "emergency". Hah. So nearly anything could be an emergency which grants the federal government ownership of our property, and this is a common theme in all these types of legislation.

Well played Obama. Well played.  :wanker:

I want them to have my hairy balls! this has gone far enough! when will this tyranny end!?

 ;)

In all seriousness I don't think they are going to come and take your kitchen table to use it to sit down at and discuss matters with Vladamir Putin.

They'll take possession of anything you might put on it though, and ration it out to you however they decide is best. This isn't ok, Richard.

Just to play devils advocate here, Lets say there was a Disaster. Like remember Hurricane Katrina? Or, Even the Boston Bombings?

Now martial law was inacted in those times. but I can understand why, when there is no rule of law or or simply when the power goes out There has to be some collective one to restore the rule of law. now I understand it doesn't always go as planned but the general idea in a disasterous emergency isn't to steal your shit. but more like to use it if it would be beneficial

To me, that isn't a bad thing. and I can understand.

One thing I do NOT agree with is imminante domain, that is in my opinion against the law.  :thumbdn:

It is indeed illegal to lay down all these guidelines as if they were the gospel in the most minute of detail, but not include details on what might cause that course of action to be taken.

This is what tyrants do.

Well just a thought here but maybe the government had to list every minute detail to protect themselves against a lawsuit?
Only thing I can think of. but to go along your point It doesn't sit well with me either, however I doubt the government would inforce such a silly law in times of peace

I'd say the lawsuit should be filed for not including cause to consequence. That's the most important part. Not including it gives one absolute power.

Have you thought about filling a lawsuit against this? to challenge its merit? You could get the ACLU to do it for you.

They love suing the government. (Local & Federal)

It has already been done several times. You might as well try to file a lawsuit against the idea of criminal activity itself.

Well. I know with the healthcare law the governments position was it wasn't a tax, when it went to the supreme court they argued it was a tax, :LMAO:

So, I'm sure they found some loophole like that in there somewhere and that's why its still da law.

What nitches, :blonde:

This goes to a bigger point I have been trying to make though. you cannot stop these guys because ultimately money=power
and power corrupts. however noble your efforts are

It's a formality they could have done all this before also if they wanted too and who could have stopped them? Best to just not let them know what you have

The wealthy have done this to everyone, all throughout history. Fact. Every single culture in human history has been a victim of this or has seen it happen.
