My mom got pancreatitis from drinking, which shot her pancreas and now she has type 1 diabetes (insulin dependent) with very fragile reactive blood sugars. When she complains about being sick I feel no pity for her at all because it is a direct result of her actions. She is in complete denial however and likes to imagine all her issues sprung out of bad luck and drinking has nothing to do with any of it.

Aww. I'm sorry about your mother SG. I hope everything works out with her, it really does suck watching a loved one slowly kill themselves.

Exactly what happened to my ex........................... also called Richard.............

My mother almost named me Damien thank fucking god she didn't. 
I wanted to be named Albert after my grandfather, however I think Richard is just a common name and so that is why I was named that. Anyways, although it sounds like you guys had a bad relationship I hope your ex is atleast doing alright.

My ex was a sack of shit who I hated, but it didn't stop it being a horrible thing to see happen to someone. he never stayed sober more than 2 months at a time.
He eventually ended up with pancreatitis and another drink will kill him.

No. Just swap junk food for fruit. If you can grow to love fruit, you can binge all day, with no ill effects (exept explosive diahrea )
