Hot shower. Hot bean bag (or warm cat). Good massage of a nice person. And a good night sleep, without curling into a funny position.

If it really bothers you, take a painkiller, so that you can relax enough for your muscle to heal.

Cheers

Just had a shower so can't be bothered having another, but I will try the hot thing and I'll take some pain killers too

Hoefully it'll be gone by morning as I'm meant to be doing something tomorrow, but can't really imagine I will be comfortable going out if it's still like this.

Bit of mild stretching will help your neck too.

Sit up straight, but not tense, try to keep your shoulders low, and then bend your head slowly as much to the right as you can. Ear towards shoulder. Leave it there for ten seconds, and bring your head in a straight position again. Do the same to the left.

Sit up straight, but not tense, try to keep your shoulders low, and then slowly turn your head, to look as far as possible to your right. Keep that position for ten seconds, and slowly turn your head back. Do the same to the left.

Swinging your arms slowly, when standing up straight can alleviate it too.

Bag of cold peas, plenty of showers and massaging does the job for me.

Whatever you do, don't take painkillers. I found it prolongs it in the long run.

Find yourself one of these bad boys.

Percussion massager.

Every time I'm stressed out my neck and shoulders lock up tight, between that thing, hot showers and an occasional ibuprofen if it's not tolerable, and I continue to plug on. I love that massager, it will beat the hell out of you on high speed though, it's brutal.

They make one with heat now I think, I need to upgrade. :autism:
