It was dry and warm in winter when you were here?  That's an unusual combination.  Generally, if it's dry in winter, it's also cold.  It's when we get low pressure systems rolling in from the south west that we get warm winter temperatures, along with lots of rain.  There's also a fair difference between the east and west coasts.  Glasgow is a few degrees warmer than Edinburgh on average and gets twice as much rain.

Warm, sunny, wonderfully breezy. Birds chirping, airplanes flying, and loud car engines.

Leaves are on the trees, plants are crowding the garden, robins are in the bird bath, and did I mention the breeze?

Mostly sunny, few clouds. Soil is craving rain, but, the world is getting greener also without that.
