It left us, so that we had a crisp cool windy sunny afternoon. Enough to dry the washing, hanging over the swamp my lawn has turned into.

It has topped ninety four degrees Fahrenheit  (or roughly thirty five degrees in Centigrade), today.

We have had no rain. If we end this day and the next with no rain, as it stands, we will have broken the historical record for the most dry August within the historical  record, which began in eighteen thirty.

Nice getting warmer and muggy again though.  A hurricane is supposed to come up the coast this week  I think it's Earl

It was very hot today. Especially after the air quit working. No rain unfortunately I wish it would. Then maybe it wouldn't be so hot.
