Everyone else I know has air conditioning. The solution to that is to get a moist face washer and wipe it over you when you go to sleep or are in front of the fan.Fans irritate my skin....I hate the feeling of them.I perservere at night time here in Qld 'cos it gets hot.

I sleep with the fan on, and sometimes have a spray bottle with water in it for really hot nights. Just spray it in the direction of the fan and it blows back at you really cold.
