Warmer today. High thirties, calm, misty, pink sky at sunrise. Kind of eerie, like a horror film color.

JEEEZ!!

We're south of it. We were supposed to get freexing rain and sleeet, but the temperatures never even approachend freezing. We topped out today at forty degrees, instead of sub-thirty, as wass predicted. It is below feeezing, now, but the wet is over and the skies are clear. We will be cold as fuck in the morningg, though. It was eight, the last time this happened.

Nah, you guys got the ice storm, we dodged that bullet.  I'll take snow over ice anyday! 8)  Speaking of which we're gonna get dumped on Sunday in a classic Nor'easter! ::)

We only had a bit of ice. Nothing to worry about. Schools went on time, for instance.

Ice horrors all went north of me. We only had about an eighth of an inch.

Remember that the idiots who forget how to drive on ice have already wrecked their cars and have to be driven to work by their friends who KNOW how to drive on ice. Roads are fairly safe, today.

6 inches of fine powdery snow dumped last night and the sky is alternating between spot flurries and sun!  ::)  29 degrees F and I'm sweating from shovelling my trenches, er, paths to the propane tank, electric meter, birdfeeders, compost bins.  During peak winter the back and side of the house looks like a copy of a WWI battlefield. :P
