Not nippy, but near seventy and breezy. Haven't run the A/C in more than a week. Thank god the two hundred dollar per month cooling bills are over and we can keep the house open.

We put a carpet pad a little smaller than the pool under my daughter's kiddie pool to protect her from the hard concrete when we set up her kiddie pool on a concrete pad in the back yard, reasoning that it would never get wet under there if it never leaked.  Even though the pool never leaked, the carpet pad still got wet.  It wasn't pretty at the end of the summer and we threw the whole mess in the trash.
