My son is olive skinned, taking more after my Italian father than my German mother. But he got burned yesterday at work, arms and neck. Cool start yesterday, but heat for the afternoon. I asked if he was ok with short sleeves. "It's gonna be eighty degrees when you pick me up."

Same forecast for today, but he wore sleeves. Some have to learn by doing, not by listening.
Ever wonder why those range riding cowboys are always depicted wearing thick leather coats in 100F weather?
Go there, you'll find out. Worse yet, try Arizona our northern Mexico.

Super clear skies, 53F/12C to start and supposed to top 80F this afternoon.

19.7°C and sunny at 10:20am. Clouds are gathering though. Also, we have a few cool nights ahead.

Kind of a chilly start; 44F/7C but not a cloud to be seen. No rain in the weekly forecast either. Breezy and cool.

Raceday should be clear and hot though.

17.1°C and sunny at 12:05pm. I'm taking advantage of this and doing some washing. It got down to 7°C last night, which is cool here.

Rain is forecast for Tuesday, fine until then.

Supposed to get hot today, but the main weather "alert" is about the pollen count.
Cottonwoods are in bloom and for asthmatics and those with various other respiratory disorders, this could mean hospitalization for a day or so if they venture out for long.

The masks will prevent pollen injuries to delicate lungs.

Still cools nicely at sundown, but hot during the sunny days.
