We had a cool front come through yesterday.  Cloudy, scattered rain, some wind.  Felt just like Winter.

That's happening here. The sun is out but there's also some dark clouds about.

For the next few days the forecast is for "possible showers". I don't have a clothes dryer so it looks like I'll have to hang things on the airer inside.

Hot-like, but I am more worried about my mom. She's in west Texas and it was 105 there this week. That's after record breaking rainfall the week before. When they say "Record Breaking Rain" in Texas, it means something a little different from places that get a lot of rain all the time and, sitting through one, you begin to understand why they build those mile long bridges twenty feet above those tiny little dried up creek beds.

Dry land watersheds can be unpredictable.

But, for my mom, I'm worried about the heat.

Today was one of those days where the rain comes pelting down while the sun's still shining bright.

My mom said that was the Devil beating his wife because she put salt into his coffee instead of sugar. 

And you will always see the sun on Saturday, even if only for a glimpse.  This is because Jesus's mother always washed her veil on Saturday and this was to dry it.
