It has been quite cold/chilly in New Orleans lately.  We have another 2 or 3 days before it warms to over 50.  Thankfully we were spared the bone crushing cold of the rest of N.A.

I regret having the floor tiled rather than carpeting it (as PA wanted).  I can feel the cold coming up from the tiles.  Great cool feeling in the summer, not so great in the winter.

All tile here too, though preferred due to allergies. Didn't notice the temperature much, but did notice the house got much louder. :laugh:

When you sit down, place a newspaper or something like that under your feet. Insulation of newspapers is really good. Makes a big difference.
