3*C which is bizarre for this time of year in Canada. We had a green Christmas which was disappointing and today is supposed to be rain

As predicted, the temperature in 40+ today.

Just ridiculous. But glad we didn't head down the coast like we usually do in summer. We'd be huddled on the beach now.

Just below freezing with a mild drizzle. Windy.
Everything is covered in clear, hard frozen ice. A little too warm overnight for all that snow to hit us.

Both the nearest weather stations to us are 46 C.

Penrith, in the western suburbs, was 48.5 C. That might be the hottest temperature ever recorded in the Sydney metropolitan area. That's 119 Fahrenheit.

I wish our a is con worked. I'm off to buy some fans.

^ I thought you had air conditioning! We don't have it either so we just sit in front of fans.

I looked at Sydney's weather forecast and it should be cooler from tomorrow, thankfully.

It's really nice here, maximum of 26°C and 22.9°C right now at 2:25pm.

Our air con is kinda broken. Needs an overhaul. I like not having air con, save money on electricity.

Today was the hottest day EVER in the Sydney basin. 48.9 at Penrith. Official.

All you brave people without AC. I get irrationally grumpy if I'm too hot.

-2*C here today which is mild for this time of year. We've hardly had any snow which isn't the norm but they say January-March should make up for that. It will be below freezing all week.
