The PR and I always have ice cream for dinner at the end of the month. We celebrate making it through the month.
What a great idea! What kinds of icecreams have you had on this occasion?
Perhaps I ought to do something similar... Icecream is a great joy.
If we have enough money it's something pricey like Ben and Jerry's. She prefers something with a crunch mixed in while I like smoother, more exotic flavours. If money is tight we buy a half gallon of store brand ice cream (less than the cost of one pint of B&J), usually chocolate or neapolitan (strawberry, chocolate and vanilla in 3 large blocks). Then I put chocolate syrup, cut up banana and jam on it. She takes hers with only the syrup.
Sounds good! I've never thought of adding jam to mine...
