Cold!
Right now 12F/-11C, two hours after sun up on a clear day. A little snow overnight, but not a problem.

Should be a little closer to freezing temperature in the afternoon. Sort of do not want to be outside.

Kind of the right track I have actually killed a number of them through hard use.

Break the handle and all you have left is a rock, sort of.

Fortunately, most old school hardware stores still sell replacement handles for axes.

Colder than it should be for early December. 12F/-11C an hour after sun up, but it is supposed to warm up closer to average temperature next week.
