Out of curiosity, how often would you have to use it where you live?   In the Northeast US, especially near the coast, it can be humid, but, rarely do the hot spells exceed 3-4 days.  So most times where we live, I'd probably have it off and the windows would be open.  This is the first place we have ever lived that had a real air conditioner built in.  It's a Mitsubishi system.  So I'm treading lightly with operating it lest I fuck it up big time!   :GA:

Not very often, say a total of 30 days or so in a year. :laugh:

Not a Super storm or anything but we got about two inches of rain in less than an hour this morning. Not much wind or damage, just wetness.

Clear now, but more expected later tonight in a separate wave.
