What is the Weather like where You Live?

ours is still indoors and struggling a little.
we kept it in because it was very cold and then suddenly it was very hot.
maybe this weekend it will go out.

today i am inside doing all the repairs that it was too hot for yesterday.

Mine did survive some chilly, near freezing temperatures!

I always have my chives outside, also when it really freezes. (not that often happening here, but sometimes we do have decent frost) It dies and comes back to life in spring. Always does.
The only reason I get a new plant now and then is that the older plants seem to be more keen on blossoming than on making nice tasty foliage.

If you are taking indoor grown plants outdoors for the first time in a month or so, be sure to introduce them to full sun gradually over a period of several days.

I live in Indiana and I grow two types of chives outdoors year 'round. Here they are completely hardy and re-grow and spread every year.
I also allow some to go to seed every year and I line some of my decorative beds with the seeds. They resemble an ornamental grass when small an then make these pretty purple allium flowers.

It's significantly cooling down. Pleased with the 28ºC of the moment. It has been really hot and very sticky all day. One of those days that a few big showers do not cool things down, but only make it worse.

A lot cooler today. Much better. I'm not sticking to every surface anymore. The chairs can slide easier on the floor too. It was as if they had been stuck with glue the past few days.

About 17ºC right now. And grey. They were talking about rain, but that is happening completely to the east, mostly in western Germany and rapidly heading towards Denmark.

A dry, grey cool day. Nothing wrong with that.

rock climbing may not have been the best plan, but it was Sunday and we had fun.
