I wish I had a wood stove maybe next year I'd heat my house with it all the time and use my work generator to charge my laptop and power the wireless

Only 13F(-10.5C) here Sun just went down supposed to get really cold tonight

Yeah, sure, but frozen pipes  can be a real motherfucker to deal with. The houses they build on the coast of Texas might withstand a serious hurricane, but they are not designed for sustained cold.

That's why I feel for them ... and what about Atlanta's record lows!?! Fuck Those folks don't do ZERO DEGREES!!  (I mean F degrees, which is negative seventeen Celsius)

When daddy rebuilt our summerhouse in the winter 1979/80, we didn't have winter pipes. He had to melt the ice in the water pipe every morning so that we should get water. We didn't have a WC but a shithouse outside. It was often below 0o F. But we were BRAVE.  8)

Very cold overnight, but it has warmed up nicely to twenty two degrees Fahrenheit (-5.5C). Getting cloudy again, though.

Hoping for some SOUTH (!!!)  wind sometime soon.

Fuck cold weather, fuck 100 yr old house with 20 years of half-assed improvements, fuck frozen pipes you can barely see let alone get to and fuck the half drunk plumber that put them there, fuck being brave.

I'm wimping out. I need wine, chocolate, & my portable heater.  :laugh:
