I can safely say, that we are experiencing our first Nor'easter of the year.  Over a foot and counting of snow.  The only saving grace is that it is cold, low 20's F so it's an easy snow to move around.  Looks like we are actually going to get what they predicted.....12-18 inches.   Everybody is home and safe and the tea and hot cocoa are flowing.  And happy hour has arrived, time for a wee bit O' brandy.   The snow is coming in bands, as in it slacks off and then starts up again and gets near whiteout conditions.  8)

A few degrees above freezing in Daventry.

Another storm on it's way tonight.   The warning sirens by the beach went off earlier warning of higher than usual tides and to move cars to higher ground

It's a stinker today - 38.1°C at 12pm. Clouds in the east but sunny for us on the coast. We just came home from doing various stuff out and about and my car's air conditioning struggled.

Edit: It got to 42°C (108°F).

It's been hoverng around 10 degrees +/- 1 F for the last three days.  Weird that the range is so narrow.

Snow is all over the place, and if my car were more trustworthy I could be making a bunch of money with Ubereats.  But the battery died on me again last time I was getting gas (ironically I was on my way to the dealership at the time) so as soon as my delivery gets here I'm taking it directly to the dealership, no stops.  Assuming it will start; I have not tested it yet.

Not quite that warm here, but nearly the same.

Wind is atrocious!

Wonderful sunny day with no warmth.

28.5°C and sunny at 10:45am. After today the forecast maximum temperatures for the rest of the week are in the mid to high 20s. What a relief.
