Beautiful sunrise with mostly clear skies. Suppose to be the warmest day today since August.
Should reach 76F/24C today.
Fall came early last year and more soon than normal, COLD.

Warm today!

Wet, cloudy and just above freezing at 9AM.
Lots of sleet overnight, but it did not really stick to much, since the ground level is a few degrees warmer than the upper atmosphere where the sleet came from.
Breeze is more calm and it should turn into a nice cool, overcast spring day.

After four or five months at or below or possibly WAY below freezing, +8C is Warmish!!

Today we're starting out at 51F/10C. Very nice, indeed!
Only problem is high winds and dry conditions put our area in a "fire watch" most of the day.

High temperatures will bring storms, but those are said to hold off until near dark. Lots of rain predicted along with tornadoes, but afterall, it is spring in Indiana.

Not dark yet, but the storms are close and still forming.

I am hoping for a lot more rain tonight. That makes digging in crappy soil easier. Today digging even a little was difficult.
The soil here is complete crap, waste fill from some dug up clay somewhere. It will take years to make the kind of garden soil I had built up at the old place, earthworm whisperer or not.

I need to feed them!
