Our air con is kinda broken. Needs an overhaul. I like not having air con, save money on electricity.

Today was the hottest day EVER in the Sydney basin. 48.9 at Penrith. Official.
Wow, I've never experienced weather that hot. 46°C is it, I think.

24.5°C and sunny at 9:55am. Should get to 30°C today.

Around freezing, a bit wet most of the day and now snowy, but nothing bad.

Just above freezing. Grey. Miserable.

I experienced weather that hot when I was in Greece during a heatwave. People were dying and apparently it broke records at the time. It was brutal.

Currently -1*C and we're expecting about 5cm of snow

Right now it's -9*C. It's supposed to get up to +9*C by tomorrow and then we're getting hit with a freezing rain storm Friday through to Sunday which means we'll most likely lose power. We're surrounded by old trees.

In the usual rapid fire change of a New England winter.....we were hit by a surprise snow squall after dark last night.  Dumped 2 inches of wet heavy snow.  And I wasn't even aware of it happening until I was listening to the local news channel.  The weather man said that there was a snow squall advisory for the seacoast area of NH and southern coastal Maine.  Fortunately Carla got home safely and it had cleared up by then.  Though it was slow driving home for her.  Today it's bright sun shining off of fresh gleaming white snow......OY  And 18 F.......

Very warm for January even for March, windy and rainy.
We are under a flood warning for some areas, due to the ground being soaked and lots of rain fallling. Notice I did not say that the ground was frozen? It is not!
Odd for January.

Kind of the same. Heard the farmer's co-op guy on the radio while I was still out patrolling this morning, warn that we should be happy that this is not typical January temperatures. Otherwise we could have between three and four feet of snow on the ground.
Not unheard of around here, nor is welcomed.

It has been raining since early Thursday and not predicted to stop until mid day on Sunday.

Sunny, near 60 F.  Great day to take walk and pick up some roadside trash.  Also attempt to fix another trash bin wheel.  Another wait and see type job.

Rain has let up, some, but it is one degree above freezing out there.
Starting to sleet.
