Every single building has air-conditioning and as a result, it smells. Like mould. It smells like mould inside the buildings? Or outside? Because that's not mould you can smell outside, it's poop. I have actually experienced cool weather in Bangkok. Believe it or not. One early morning I was staying in central Bangkok with my family, my daughter was a baby so it was about 10 years ago. My wife sent me downstairs to get street food for breakfast. It was 14 Celsius (I found out later). Around December you do get a few pleasant days where it is around 25 maximum. Most of the year it is constantly hot and humid. The worst is around April, just before the wet season begins. Really oppressive, muggy heat. Compare that to Jakarta, where the coldest I can remember it getting in 8 years was 23 Celsius.
