18 degrees is quite warm for me if it is sunny and not windy. T-shirt weather.

I run hot. Last night my wife put her frozen feet on my bare skin while I was asleep. Bloody hell (I shouted). My wife just put her back against my back after that and let herself warm up that way.

I get lots of hugs for about 6 months of the year and then when it starts getting hot my poor wife is literally just about falling off the other side of the bed trying to keep away from the heat radiating off me. It doesn't worry me at all, I sleep fine when it's hot but it must be horrible to sleep beside me because I'm hot and sticky.

Heavy rain all along the east coast. We really need it, so can't complain.

I scored a free umbrella this morning with advertising for an insurance company on it. It's a good umbrella so can't complain. There were people handing them out outside the train station in the pouring rain, so they had plenty of takers.

A bit further north the weather is a bit more extreme. This woman was inside her car with her baby when hail the size of tennis balls smashed the windows. She used her body to shelter the baby.

Rained some overnight, chilly. Should reach mid fifties Fahrenheit, but there is a way to go.
