17.5 Celsius at 10:50 am.

Beautiful weather now in Sydney. Wouldn't mind a bit of rain though.

It's funny how people sometimes think Sydney has a hot or subtropical climate. We've actually got a warm temperate climate. Mild winters, warm summers. Average high temperature in mid summer is 26 C. That's only one degree warmer than Paris.

Because of the large, hot, dry land mass to our West we do occasionally get very hot weather (in the 40s). That's normally just a couple of days per year though, certainly not the norm.

You're about 5 degrees (Celsius) hotter than us in the summer.

And about 2 degrees warmer in the winter.

Perth gets a lot more sunshine in the warmer months than we do. We tend to get lots of sunshine in winter and lots of muggy overcast (and rainy) weather in summer.

25 Celsius at midday. And sunny.

High temperature is supposed to be 26, but I suspect that it will go higher.

Warm spring weather is finally here. Although the long weekend coming up is going to be cool again (tops around 18).

Still... 18 is nice.
