15.8°C, windy (wow is it ever) and rainy at 2:20pm.

The only reprieve will be Sunday, which is just meant to be cloudy and windy. That's when I will hang washing out.

Been raining On and Off for two days. We really need it. The lightning storm that preceded the big storm was spectacular!

Now it is really cool outdoors. I needed my hoody when I brought in two buckets of tomatoes, destined for a salsa batch.

Still now and warming.

The drought continues and the authorities are already talking about water restrictions in the city.

It's still fairly green here along the coast, but go inland a bit and some places that are normally green and lush have effectively become barren deserts.

Windy.

Wednesday we had some rain in the early morning. 5mm. Today after a too warm morning the afternoon brought nice showers and now there is a lot of wind.

It is cooling down nicely. No 37/38°C any more. And rain, glorious lovely rain. Massive showers with a bit of soft rain before their arrival, preparing the soil for water.

19mm today.

We need lots and lots more. But this is a nice start.
