the predictions are

white plains 31 and humid
montreal 34 and humid

but there is no air conditioning here. dunno what i will do when it reaches a humidex of 100 as it's supposed to later this week.

^I remember that about Montreal. The first time I was there was in August, 2003, and I remember how the heat and humidity hit me like a brick wall when leaving the airport. I still don't know if it rained or not.

And speaking of heat, London is sort of like that, right now. I don't know if it's particularly hot but it's humid. Taking the tube is pure hell right now.

14.5°C and clear at 7:40pm. It was a nice sunny day today. Supposed to be tomorrow too, so I will do some clothes washing.

28 and rising. heat index supposed to top out at 43C later today.

amazing thing is that now the humidity is below 90% it wasn't so bad to be out. i got some errands done.

Low pressure area over the general (southeastern) part of the state.  Flooding, closures, the usual.  Most of it's across Lake Pontchartrain, so we're pretty safe.
