  This evening at work, I noticed that one of the meat thermometers had gone missing.  Thinking quickly, I realized
  that I might have thrown it in the trash along with some discarded plastic wrap from dinner.  I was right!
  I immediately searched the trash, retrieved the thermometer, washed it and put it back where it belongs.  Epic!
