I'm 4' 10', part of the reason I'm Queen Victoria.  Cbc is about our height.  Good things come in small packages.

Queen Victoria, how the heck do you find pants that fit?  Petite or short sizes still tend to drag on the ground for me.

There are rumors in-country as well.  I'm not sure they've ever been officially acknowledged, but I suspect that at least some of these stories are more than just rumors.  The famine in the 90s killed so many.  Hunger makes you do some effed up stuff.  :( 

North Koreans are significantly shorter on average than their genetically comparable counterparts to the south.  It takes a lot of deprivation to create that kind of a difference.
